An ion channel that is voltage-gated is actually a group of proteins that remain embedded in the plasma and produce movement potential because it is able to be the cause of positive feedback loop. Membrane potential is the main factor responsible for controlling the condition of Ion channels. The action potential is created when the positive feedback cycle takes place at full intensity. The time and the intensity are determined by the bio-physical properties of the ion channels with voltage-gated voltage. Many kinds of ionchannels are known to produce positive feedback cycles that eventually result in the production of these potentials. The sodium channels with voltage are involved in the creation of fast possibles that resemble those produced by nerve impulse. The slower ones, like those generated in the muscle cells are controlled by calcium Ion channels.The most thoroughly studied voltage-gated Ion channels are the sodium ion channels which are involved in more rapid nerve impulse conduction.
